John Harvey, CPA, MBT

John Harvey is the firm’s owner and general securities principal.  Mr. Harvey holds a Masters in Business Taxation (MBT) and a bachelor of science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California  (the Leventhal School of Accounting is consistently ranked in the top five accounting schools by US News and World Report). He began his career in 1989 with the Beverly Hills office of Ernst & Young as a tax consultant to high net worth celebrities. Mr. Harvey is a licensed CPA since 1991. Beginning in 1992, Mr. Harvey worked as a tax consultant for Price Waterhouse and as a Senior Manager with Deloitte & Touché in Los Angeles. 

Mr. Harvey is also licensed as a Registered Investment Advisor, General Securities Representative and General Securities Principal (FINRA series 24, 7, 66 and 63) and offers tenants-in-common properties for investment through Sandlapper Securities (member FINRA, SIPC), He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of California.  He is a member of the Tenant-in-common Association (TICA), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Apartment Owners Association (AOA), and the California Society of CPA's. 

Mr. Harvey is an Elite Advisor for Cornerstone and has assisted investors in the purchase of over $400 million in tenant in common real estate.  These credentials together with his business knowledge and real world experience allow the firm to offer in-depth real estate advice on section 1031 exchange replacement properties with a view to the effects of income and estate taxation.

Trawnegan Gall

Trawnegan Gall is a General Securities Representative at Cornerstone. After graduating from Pomona College with a BA in History in 1990, he spent extensive time abroad working with non-profits, specializing in the areas of strategic planning of operations abroad, project management, development of personnel, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Strong in factual analysis, he also played an integral role in the areas of budgeting and financial planning. But his passion has always been languages and linguistics. He is functionally fluent in four languages, and in addition to European languages, he has studied languages from the Middle Eastern, Asian, and Pacific Islands groups.

Desiring to further broaden his abilities and bring legal knowledge and methods to his work at Cornerstone, Mr. Gall is now in the second year of a four-year JD legal program.

Ms. Solorzano is a Cornerstone tax consultant and has a degree in accounting from California State University, Fullerton.


Evelyn Ybarra

Evelyn Ybarra is a Cornertone assistant with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from California Sate University at Fullerton. Currently, she is working towards her license as a Certified Public Accountant. While in school she was an active member of the accounting society and is still a member alumni.

Veneta Borisova

Veneta Borisova has a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a double major in Finance and Accounting from California StateUniversity, Long Beach. Miss Borisova has passed all four parts of the CPA exam and is currently working towards satisfying the experience requirements of the CPA professional license. She is a member of Golden Key International Society and also of the CSULB Alumni Association. While in school, Veneta Borisova was a part of Women’s Tennis Team at Fullerton College, and appeared on the Dean’s list for excellent grades.
